Today, my daughter hits a milestone in her life. She is now in the double digits for age! That's right. Isabel is now 10 years old. 10 years ago tonight I was recovering in the hospital and greeting visitors (she was born at 2:51 p.m. and weighed 5 pounds 5 ounces...she was a month early!).
Isabel is celebrating her birthday by having 5 of her friends over for a slumber party this evening. Should be interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anniversary
Today, my husband and I celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe that we have been married for 14 years and that we have known each other for 18 years. We don't have any special plans for today due to the fact that our church has Vacation Bible School this week and I am teaching the preschool group. We do plan on either going out to eat or getting something delivered for supper so that neither of us has to cook.
I do want to take this opportunity to tell my husband how much I love him.
I love you honey!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recipies
To help us with our grocery shopping, my family creates a menu every week. During the school year, it is fairly easy to come up with meal ideas since we are only cooking supper at home. However, the summer months are harder. With myself and the kids home during the summer, we have to plan for lunches as well as suppers and I am running out of ideas for meals.
So, I am asking anyone who may happen to read this blog to share their favorite meal, if you feel so inclined. If you could include the recipe as well, that would be greatly appreciated. My children are somewhat picky and do not like mushrooms or peppers in their food.

Dump Him
South Carolina Governor, Mark Sanford, now admits that he has "crossed the line" with other women including his so called soul mate from Argentina. He now says that he is trying to fall back in love with is wife. I say dump him. His wife should divorce him and walk away. She would be better off without him.
