I have a feeling that it is going to be a very long day for me. Currently, it is 2:40 am and I have been awake since 12:25 am. I have had 3 hours of sleep so far (I do hope that after I am done blogging, that I will be able to go back to sleep).
It is rare for me to have insomnia, but it has happened from time to time. Typically, I can watch a little bit of TV (CNN or some other news channel) and fall back to sleep. However, that did not work for me tonight. So, I got up and switched laundry around and folded the clothes from the dryer. I have also gone through winter outer wear that my children have outgrown and decided if it could be washed and passed down to my niece and nephews or if it needed to be thrown out because it no longer wearable. I now have a new pile of laundry to be washed and then boxed up so that I can give it to my sister the next time I see her. I will not be able to pass any of the winter outer wear onto my brother as the "boy" items are too small for his boys and the rest of outer wear are for girls.
I also have too many thoughts running through my head. These thoughts are not helping me with the being able to fall back to sleep. Every time I close my eyes, they start racing though my head. Thoughts about what I need to do at work, things that need be done around the house, things that I need to remember to do in the morning before I go to work, the fact that I am not able to get back to sleep. I am hoping that by blogging about everything that I have been thinking about, it will clear my mind and allow me to fall asleep and get at least a couple more hours before I need to get back up.
Well, it is now 2:50 am. I am going to end my blog and head back to bed. Hopefully, sleep will find me quickly.
at least you didn't keep Jeff up, unlike Aaron did to me.
ReplyDeleteI was up early as well, although not quite as early. I hope you manage to make it through the day.
ReplyDeleteJeff is able to sleep through anything. While I didn't last night, I have vacuumed during the night when I can't sleep. (The kids sleep through everything as well.)
